Rodin Motorsport’s Alex Ninovic is the 2025 GB3 Champion, after yet another sensational performance at Donington Park. The Australian claimed his eighth pole position of the season in Q1 and converted that into his seventh win of the year in the opening race and claimed his eighth win of the year on Sunday, overcoming a 10-second jump start penalty to put one hand on the title.
Race one
Ninovic made an excellent start from pole position to build a two second lead across the opening two laps of the race, only to see that wiped out by a safety car. He controlled the restart, and this time built a lead of five seconds, only to lose it again when another car found the gravel with five minutes remaining.
With so little time remaining, the race ended under nullified conditions, Ninovic finishing ahead of fellow BRDC Rising Star Reza Seewooruthun, who fought his way past Noah Lisle early on to take second.

Race two
Ninovic started second but moved a fraction before the lights went out. He held the lead from pole sitter Seewooruthun at turn one, and from that point, essentially entered time trial mode as he aimed to extend his lead at the front to in excess of 10 seconds.
He reached the magic point on the penultimate lap and took the flag over 11 seconds clear, meaning he took the win by 1.1s from Seewooruthun, while BRDC SuperStar Deagen Fairclough completed the podium.

Race three
Entering the reverse grid contest with a 99-point buffer to Pat Heuzenroeder, Ninovic simply needed to extend his championship lead by three points to guarantee himself the title before Monza.
In simple terms, if he finished inside the top 10 and ahead of Heuzenroeder and teammate Gianmarco Pradel, the title was his. With Heuzenroeder caught up in a first lap shunt, and Pradel being fired into the gravel later on, Ninovic’s task was even simpler, and he battled from 12th on the grid to seventh after a controlled drive.
At the front, pole-sitter Lucas Fluxa led every lap as he claimed his first GB3 win on his maiden weekend for Hillspeed, with two weekend debutants Bart Harrison (JHR) and Liam McNeilly (Fortec) completing the podium.
