The Club has just been informed that Life Member James ‘Jim’ Furse died last month, age 94. Jim joined the Club in 1950 and whilst Club records on his career are thin, it is known that in the early 50’s he helped manage a Bob Gerard’s team of 3 ERAs. Jim’s other interest during these years was rallying and he competed several times in the Monte Carlo Rally. It is understood that the funeral has already taken place and condolences have been sent to Jim’s family.
