NEW DATE FOR 2013 BRITISH GRAND PRIX

The FORMULA 1 BRITISH GRAND PRIX is set for a new date in 2013, after the FIA World Motor Sport Council confirmed the calendar for next year’s Formula 1™ World Championship. The 2013 Formula 1 British Grand Prix will take place at Silverstone over three days, between Friday 28 June and Sunday 30 June.
Following news of Lewis Hamilton’s move to the MERCEDES AMG PETRONAS Formula One Team in 2013, and Sergio Perez joining Jenson Button at the Vodafone McLaren Mercedes team, anticipation is already building ahead of next season. Paul Di Resta will also line up on the Silverstone start grid in June, having impressed with the Sahara Force India team this year.
With up to six Formula 1™ World Champions battling it out at Silverstone, two of which are Brits Button and Hamilton, there will be plenty for the passionate home fans to cheer about.
