NOTICE OF DEATH - TED CUTTING

It is with regret that the Club has to announce the death of Associate Member, Ted Cutting, who passed away in the early hours of Thursday 22nd March.

Although Ted only joined the Club in 1996 it was his hugely important role as Chief Designer at Aston Martin with his enormous contribution to the DBR1, DBR2 and the World Sports Car Championship in 1959 that were behind his Associate Membership. He was also involved in the DP212 and DP 215 projects at Aston Martin as well as working extensively within the motor industry for over 50 years.

Condolences have been passed to Ted’s widow, Dorothy and his three daughters.  Members are invited to a Celebration of Ted's life being held on Wednesday 18 April at 1.30pm at St Peter's Church, Weald Road, South Weald, nr Brentwood.  Afterwards light refreshments will be served in the new church hall which adjoins the church.
