It is with regret that the Club has to announce the death of Life Member John Lawry on Monday 24 June 2013.
John joined the Club in 1958, proposed by Colin Chapman and seconded by John Eason Gibson, having enjoyed success in the Autosport Production Sports Car Championship in 1957 in one of the earliest Lotus Elites.
There will be a Thanksgiving Service for John on Tuesday 16 July at St Mary Oatlands Church in Weybridge, Surrey at 12.15pm. The Club has sent condolences to John’s children, Lance and Phillipa.
