NOTICE OF DEATH – PETER ARUNDELL
It is with sadness the Club has to report the death of Life Member Peter Arundell, who died this morning (June 17).
Peter’s motor sport career started in 1962 and he won the Formula Junior championship in a Lotus 22. He spent three seasons in Formula 1, 1963-64 and 1966, winning 13 Grand Prix, having made his debut with Lotus. He missed most of the 1965 season having badly broken his legs in a Formula 2 crash.
Funeral details are still to be confirmed.
The Club regrets to inform Members of the death of Tony Fletcher, who was elected as a BRDC Member in 2003.
