BRDC ANNOUNCES DRIVERS FOR THE 2013 SUPERSTAR PROGRAMME

The BRDC is pleased to announce 15 drivers for 2013, the sixth year of the highly successful SuperStars programme. Additionally Sam Bird remains as BRDC SuperStars ambassador.

The 2013 SuperStars are:

OLIVER ROWLAND 
ALEX BRUNDLE 
ALEXANDER SIMS

New SuperStars joining in 2013 are:

JACK HAWKSWORTH 
SAM TORDOFF 
TOM SHARP 
JACK GOFF 
JORDAN KING

The drivers themselves are equally delighted to be part of the BRDC scheme.

Jack Goff "I'm absolutely thrilled to be a part of the BRDC SuperStars line up for 2013. The help and recognition this will give me in my first year of racing in the BTCC is immeasurable".

Dean Stoneman "The BRDC have supported me throughout my recovery from cancer over the last 2 years, so I'm delighted to be included in the SuperStars for 2013 as I make my return to full time racing”.

Adrian Quaife-Hobbs "It really is an honour to be chosen to represent the BRDC through the SuperStars programme. I intend to use every element of the scheme to enhance my results in GP2 this year".

Tim Harvey, Director, BRDC SuperStars is delighted to confirm the line up for the sixth year. “We always find it hard to make the final decision but after careful consideration we are delighted that we have so many talented drivers to work with. It reinforces our commitment to the sport and the benefits that the BRDC can add to the careers of up and coming British talent. I am particularly pleased to be welcoming seven new drivers to the programme this year".
