ANNOUNCEMENT OF MCLAREN AUTOSPORT BRDC AWARD FINALISTS
The four drivers that will fight for the 2016 McLaren Autosport BRDC Award have been decided.
BRDC Formula 3 frontrunners Ricky Collard and Toby Sowery and British F4 runner-up Sennan Fielding will all return for the second time, while Formula Renault Eurocup champion Lando Norris will make his first Award appearance.
McLaren has increased its involvement this year and will conduct the fitness and simulator elements, while the two-day test at Silverstone will still include running in Formula 2, DTM Mercedes and McLaren GT3 machinery.
McLaren will also offer the winner a paid simulator role for 2017, as well as the usual test in a Formula 1 car.
The winner, who will be announced at the Autosport Awards on Sunday 4 December and will also attend the BRDC Annual Awards on Monday 5 December, will become a Full Member of the British Racing Drivers' Club and recieve an Arai GP-6 RC carbon crash helmet.
