NOTICE OF DEATH - BRIAN JONES
It is with regret that the Club has to announce the death of Associate Member Brian Jones who died peacefully at home in Oxford on 19 May aged 67 years following a long illness.
Brian was a mechanic to Martin Raymond and was involved with Lola and Chevron as privateer entries. Brian also enjoyed racing himself in special saloons and the mini 7 racing club. He had success with Mini Miglia building cars for other people as well as racing himself.
Brian was an active supporter of his local Air Training Corps encouraging the children to experience motor sport.
Condolences have been passed to Brian’s wife Meg and children, Helen and Robin. His funeral will take place at Oxford Crematorium on Monday 2 June at 12.45pm. All are welcome.
