MARLOE WATCH COMPANY BECOMES AN OFFICIAL PATRON OF THE BRITISH RACING DRIVERS' CLUB
Independent British watch designer and producer, Marloe Watch Company, is delighted to have teamed up with the British Racing Drivers’ Club (BRDC), becoming an official Patron. The illustrious organisation not only gathers motorsport’s elite but harvests and supports young talent, something Marloe will be backing in becoming an official Patron of the BRDC Young Driver Programme.
The Club channels its responsibility as ‘guardians of British motor sport’ through the programme, running complementary SuperStars and Rising Stars schemes to assist the best British drivers achieve success in top level motorsport. Visiting national and international racing podiums on a regular basis, the Club has an eye for spotting the very best who have gone on to compete at top level – something Marloe will be passionately supporting with its partnership.
Taking inspiration from adventure and with a focus on doing things as expertly as possible, Marloe will be building upon its prior motor sport ties through the patronship. Not only has the brand already partnered with the National Motor Museum but channels its co-founders’ authentic love for automobiles through the likes of its Coniston Auto watch. Designed in collaboration with, and supporting, the Campbell Family Heritage Trust, the collection takes inspiration from Sir Malcom Campbell and Donald Campbell’s land speed record breaking runs, not to mention Sir Malcolm’s 1927 and 1928 Grand Prix achievements. A highlight of Marloe and BRDC’s partnership, a bespoke watch will be introduced within 2024. Available only to BRDC Members, the timepiece will adorn the wrists of the sport’s highest flyers. Based at Silverstone and presided over by racing royalty, David Coulthard MBE, the Club is an exclusive invitation-only members' club for around 850 of those who have achieved success in the sport’s upper levels, with the likes of Sir Lewis Hamilton MBE amongst its Members. In addition to the special edition watch and a number of events at the Club’s home of Silverstone, the partnership will see:
• Presence at the British 2024 Grand Prix
• Presence within the BRDC clubhouse, the exclusive hangout spot of Club members, taking a permanent prominent space in its entrance and branded clocks within
• Attendance to the 2024 and 2025 BRDC Awards Luncheons
• Presence for Marloe trackside, decorating the world-famous Silverstone route, opposite the BRDC clubhouse
• Access to partner with a prominent BRDC personality
