David Addison

Lead commentator for ITV4’s live and exclusively-free coverage of the Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship alongside Tim Harvey since 2013, and lead commentator for the Blancpain GT Series, with John Watson, and Blancpain GT Series Asia.
Since 2013, David has been the English voice of the FIA F3 European Championship highlights programme for worldwide TV audiences, since 2015 he has been the television voice of the British Rallycross Championship for BT Sport and Eurosport’s Le Mans 24 Hours coverage for the last two seasons.
In addition, David commentates on HayFisher Productions’ coverage of the British GT Championship, the World Feed television broadcast of the Nürburgring 24 Hours and covers occasional ADAC GT Masters, ADAC F4 and DTM events, as well as the odd FIA European Truck Racing Championship round.
David has commentated at every British Grand Prix since 1991 and assumed the role of the main commentator in 2014.
David has worked on Sky Sports' World Motorsports programme, commentating on everything from International racing to stock cars, and has been part of the official English language commentary team for the DTM.
He has worked on radio, covering the Le Mans 24 Hours, and moved to television coverage of the event in 2004 as part of the official TWI English language commentary team for the world feed for the event. He has worked for Channel 4 on its Rallysprint coverage and for the BBC's Top Gear Motorsport show in the 1990s covering Rallycross.
For 2008, David covered Formula 1 live for the ill-fated F1 in Cinema project.
More recently, David has been part of the V8 Supercars Television crew covering the Bathurst 1000, Gold Coast 600 and Sydney 500 events, as well as the Bahrain round live for Channel 7. David has been the television voice of the Spa 24 Hours since 2010 and of the Blancpain Endurance Series since it began in 2011. When Motors TV launched its coverage of live racedays in 2010, David was behind the microphone, covering every race at a variety of club meetings.
In 2012, David was part of the television commentary team for he first ever motor races in Azerbaijan, for the GT City Challenge.
Away from a microphone, David does media work for a variety of teams, drivers and championships, edits the BRDC Bulletin and is a former director of the BRSCC.
