International outright win at Montlhery, and the class win at 24 hour race in Le Mans, up to 2 litre prototype. This was the 1st Lola ever to finish Le Mans.

Raced Lola T 70 Mk3b; best result was a class win in Kyalarmi 9 hour race with the late Jackie Pretorius co-driving.
1969
Campaigned a new Chevron B8 FVA and a Chevron B9 Holbay F3 car. The Chevron won three International races outright in Zandvoot, Wundstorf and Denmark.

Chevron B8 Ford 1600 twin cam. Won 18 races and the Tootle GT Championship for up to 1600cc

Barrie bought the ex works Lotus 15 built for Grahame Hill, modified by John Dabbs for Dizzy Addicot with a 3.5 Buick engine.
