It was another successful weekend for drivers associated with the BRDC across a range of championships in Europe and the United States of America. As the halfway points of the seasons of many high profile categories are fast approaching, these results will do a lot to cement the position of our Members, SuperStars and Rising Stars on their quest for championship titles. The Club would like to congratulate the following drivers on their podium success:
FIA Formula One World Championship at Circuit Paul Ricard
Lewis Hamilton MBE (Full Member) - 1st
FIA Formula 2 Championship at Circuit Paul Ricard
George Russell (SuperStar) - 1st in race one
GP3 Series at Circuit Paul Ricard
Callum Ilott (SuperStar) - 1st in race two
Joey Mawson (Rising Star) - 3rd in race two
Pro Mazda Series at Road America
Toby Sowery (Rising Star) - 2nd in race one and 2nd in race two
Harrison Scott (Full Member) - 3rd in race one and 3rd in race two
FIA Formula 3 European Championship at Norisring
Jehan Daruvala (Rising Star) - 1st in race one
Dan Ticktum (SuperStar) - 1st in race three
Blancpain GT Series Sprint Cup at Misano
Will Steven (Full Member) - 2nd in race two
GT4 European Series at Misano
Will Tregurtha (Rising Star) and Stuart Middleton (Rising Star) - 2nd in race one
DTM Championship at Norisring
Gary Paffett (Full Member) - 2nd in race one
British Touring Car Championship at Croft
Ash Sutton (SuperStar) - 1st in race one and 1st in race two
Jason Plato (Full Member) - 2nd in race one
Colin Turkington (Full Member) - 2nd in race two
Daniel Lloyd (Full Member) - 1st in race three
Tom Chilton (Full Member) - 2nd in race three
Renault UK Clio Cup at Croft
Max Coates (Rising Star) - 2nd in race one and 1st in race two
